Aurora Lopez, MS
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
As a person-centered therapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients can freely express their feelings and life experiences. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, offering compassionate treatment grounded in the belief that clients should be at the center of their own mental health care. In this environment, clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate their mental health journeys.
I bring a culturally sensitive perspective to my work, recognizing the profound impact that family and culture have on a person’s development and self-image. I am deeply committed to serving individuals, children, families, and couples from diverse backgrounds, including immigrant populations, individuals with learning disabilities, and parents facing the challenges of raising children with learning disabilities.
I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary’s School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy. My training at Fuller has equipped me to thoughtfully integrate faith, spirituality, and mental health in a way that honors the diverse ways people understand and experience spirituality, both from Christian and non-Christian perspectives. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families from a wide range of racial/ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, religious/spiritual beliefs, and nationalities.
